Martin: How do you pay your university accommodation deposit?
I finished applying for my university through ucas and filling out an accommodation form however, I’ve been told that I must pay a deposit of £400. Is there anyway I can get some financial aid from bank e.g. loan/ student finance or will I have to pay it myself?

Because you will have to pay it before you get your student loan, you will probably have to pay it yourself. Having said this, if it is really a major problem, the university probably have other students in the same situation, so I would contact them and ask them what they do in this situation.
