How do you make maternity clothes in the Sims 2?

Me <3 Pink: How do you make maternity clothes in the Sims 2?
I want to be able to make my own maternity clothes in the Sims 2. I don’t want to download anything. Is this possible? If so, how do i go about doing so?

Well, the stuff you download online is created by amateurs, so if they can do it so can you. I think you need to know how to create a mesh and I heard some people just use Photoshop. You could always go on Sims-related message boards and ask there.

Like any other clothing for The Sims 2 you will need something to create the form of the clothing (a mesh) and something to create the color and appearance of the clothing (a texture).

You can make both of these yourself, but it does require some work to make it look nice.

I suspect you will also have to use SimPE to make sure that the item you make will appear when your sim is pregnant.

Go into Sims 2 bodyshop, and using the same method you would to make other clothes, you can design your own maternity clothes. If you dont know how to use the body shop, then visit:
