I’m intrested in becoming a film maker but dont want to go to film school. How can I make film connection and friends if I dont go to film school?

sounds like you need start some knee endurance exercises,
My brother has a friend who went to California just to network. Maybe you can go to college in California and then while your there, go out to independant film festivals and just start up some conversations.
