How do you know when your going on a group interview?

Bunny: What is a group interview and how do you know when your going on a group interview?
I have a interview with build a bear today.
I read online that they have group interview.
But when i was on the phone with the manger he never told me about a group interview.
So how would i know if it’s a group interview
and also what is a group interview?

its when you get interviewed along with the other people who want the job, sometimes they get you to do exercises etc.

They are looking to see how you interact with people – they do kids parties and stuff at those stores so its to see how confident you are.

Act like you work on the Disney channel and you will be fine.

ADVICE FOR JOB HUNTERS TO HANDLE GROUP INTERVIEW

1. 99% of companies using group interviews do not know what they’re doing nor how to evaluate applicants they interview. They stupidly use group interviews to make employees feel “involved” in hiring. Instead, they get “the blind leading the blind.” Recommendation = Feel confident you are facing multiple people who have no clue how to assess you!

2. Immediately determine who is the one person conducting group interview who is the real leader of the pack. Make a lot of eye contact with that person during interview and, if possible, adjust your chair so you face that leader.

3. Within your first 120 seconds, say something charming or humorous to (a) instantly make them fall in love with you and (b) calm the anxiety of group interviewers who feel relieved and will rate positively any applicant who acts charming.

4. Come right out & say: “I want to help you hire the right person. So, during your group interview, what topics do you want me to focus on?” Important = This is a sneaky yet ethical way to uncover exactly what they want to hear from you.
