How do I tell my sister something without sounding mean?

Urqs: How do I tell my sister something without sounding mean?
My twin sister has some major BO issues. I know that it is partially due to her anxiety disorder, but it would probably do some good if she used a clinical strength deodorant or something. Whenever she borrows my clothes, I can’t get the smell out! Sometimes I have to wash sweaters a few times to get rid of it.
I want to help her, because I know I would want someone to tell me if I smelled awful, but I don’t know how to tell her without hurting her feelings.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

just tell her calmly

Ask her if you smell her clothes up when you borrow them, and take it from there, or stop lending her your clothes and wait for her to complain.

My sister had the same problem and I think that it is a tough situation to be put in so just ask her to

come in your room for a sec and just let it out. Say “There is really no way to say this without being

mean and I don’t want you to feel bad if other people tell you this that’s why I’m your sister I’m here to

help. You should probably look into wearing clinical strength deodorant I promise it will help and just

make you that much more love-able” Something like that would prob. help I hope it does! 😀

Buy the clinical strength deodorant for her and when you give it to her, tell her because I love you … you need to try this and then hug her. Big Hugs go along way. Your words are perfect “I would want someone to tell me if I smelled awful”.

U: Preface your question with a good statement: Example:” You are such a woderful and great, helpful sister to me. I love you so much and I wouldn’t say this if you didn’t mean so much to me. You probably don’t know it but your body oder is a little on the strong side. Your friends are probably too polite to mention it; however, I knew you would take no offence if I did. I’ve done some no name mentioned checking and would like you to try this special deoderant I bought for you as a gift to see how you like it. Would you like to try it? ” In the meantime do a little research on your PC to find the best deoderant to handle your sister’s problem and buy a bottle for her. This shows how much concern you have for her.
