: How to stop my girlfriend from giving me gifts?
My girlfriend gives me several home-made gifts or store-bought gifts, every week. I think its nice, but she is going over-board. I already have 20 gifts from her which I have kept. I appreciate them, but it is not necessary for her to shower me with these gifts, all the time.
Just being with her is gift enough. How do I tell her nicely?

“Just being with her is gift enough” sounds pretty nice to me. Just tell her something like that and hope she understands, I’d say.

Excatly what you just told us.
Next time she gives you something, gently place it on the table, grab her hands, look into her eyes and say something like, “Thank you, but being with you is gift enough. You don’t need to buy me things.”Answer by rosa

You gave the answer yourself which is to tell her what you said… that just being with her is a gift enough! How nicer can you get than that.
Then tell her that you won’t accept any more gifts from her, because you have enough and don’t want anymore. If she doesn’t “get it”, then give her back the next gift she gives you, because she isn’t respecting your wishes, so it shows she has no respect for you. (unless it’s for a special occasion, birthday Christmas, etc.) If your serious about this… then absolutely refuse to accept them. Just say “NO”, enough!
If that doesn’t work and she’s that stubborn, then tell her you would rather the money instead.
That should work!
