There are a few options:

1) your account has been compromised, meaning they have your password etc. In that case, run a virusscan and spywarescan (update the programs first) and make sure your PC is clean. Then, change both password and secret question.

2) your address is being spoofed. This means they are pretending to send from your account, but actually are not. This is something i have not yet found a solution for – except delete and be patient.

3) you may have a virus that sends mail on your PC. run a full system scan with an up-to-date virusscanner. If you do not have one, Avast is free for home use, as is AVG, and both are pretty good.
