How do I spam skills that require me to target a unit in dota? I keep using my mouse to click on the skills and then click on unit..Is there a faster way?

Use the spells hotkey. Much faster then moving back and forth from spell icons to target.
DAMN I wish my internet was fast enough to play wc3.

If you play only with the mouse you probably cannot play a lot of heroes as good as if you play with hotkeys. You must start playing with hotkeys so you can cast the skill immediately without any delay. then checking your cooldown and again tcast the same skill as you target your enemy with your mouse without moving from him. Then you can attack him and spam at the same time wwithout loosing any time.

Use the hotkeys cause its heaps easier then using your mouse and if your spells have short cooldowns you can just spam your spells with hotkeys so you don’t need to keep using your mouse.

Like everyone has said before, hotkeys is the best way. hover over your skills and one letter out of the name of the skill is highlighted, this is the hotkey. Also, if your hero has two or more nukes, you can also use the shift key as a way to use your spells consecutively. For example, if you were to use tinkerer he has 2 nukes in his skillset. if you were to approach someone from far away you would hold down the shift key, press ‘e'(hotkey for Laser) and left click on the hero, press ‘t'(hotkey for Heat Seeking Missle) and left click on the hero, and if you had a dagon you can click on the hotkey for whatever slot you have it in and left click on the hero. release the shift key and as your hero walks up to the other, if you did the above combo it’s an automatic 830 hp off(before magical resistance). Hope this helps!
