glixtcher: How do I send spam messages directly to the trash bin in Yahoo mail?
I can “mark as spam” but I still have to delete the spam e-mails. I want to automatically send the e-mails from that address to the trash folder. Can anyone help?

I am not really sure of your question. When I send items to the ‘spam’ box, I go in and delete them right away, but you do not have to as Yahoo will delete them if you do not want to do it yourself. You really DO want to mark those mails as spam, so you stop getting them in your inbox, but there is not a means to send it directly to the ‘trash’ box. You can change how often Yahoo will delete your spam box, but I really recommend you not do it too often, so you can check to make sure all mails in there are truly spam.
Look for and click on ‘Options’ in the top right corner of mail screen.
Options/ mail options
Click on ‘spam’ in the list on the left hand side of screen
You can change your settings for ‘Empty Spam folder’ there, in third line down.
When done, click on the ‘Save changes’ link at top left of screen
In Options, which is on the right side of your mail screen, there is a place to check to have your spam box mail deleted as soon as it arrives. You should never have to empty that box. The ones that do show up in your in box can simply be marked spam.
