Peaches: How do I report a possible illegal scam offer I received in my email?
I got an email from some guy in Johannasburg stating he has access to $ 36,000,000 in an account that belonged to someone who is now deceased and if I will open an account and give him the info he will give 25% of the money. NO!!! I’m not considering doing this as I am sure it’s a scam. What I’m wondering is if it’s also illegal and if so, who do I report/forward this email to?

one word of advice……NEVER reply to these email scams…..
once you reply, you are also validating your email address to these scam operators. To them it means that your email that they had in their list is a VALID one and therefore worth maintaining in their lists………these lists eventually are sold, and resold, etc to people who keep sending more and more of these scams.
simply , ignore the text, mark as SPAM and delete
