Mike: How do I protect my raised vegetable garden from animals?
I am making a 6′ 8″ garden bed, and I know how to make it and how to garden and all that stuff. But, there’s one thing I don’t know. How do you keep animals like Deer, Raccoon, and pesky animals like that out of your garden?

I’ve seen some people create an enclosure out of pbc piping and netting. Didn’t look very complex, just square/rectangular frame and netting applied tightly.
some times vinagar around the edges keeps animals out.Answer by Chuck M
I agree with Sam. I have used window screen also. Don’t use windows themselves or you will end up cooking them (like a green house).

I’ve put a chicken wire fence around mine and it has stopped my very roudy husky from getting in there, so I know it will stop other animals. I have seen a squirel in there once but that was the day I put the chicken wire up. It sure was funny watching him to figure out how to get out of there.
