narcissa: How do I prevent my clothing from being attacked by lint when it’s being washed?
I am really fed up right now because this often seems to happen to my dark clothing. I use Tide Bleach. I turn all of my clothing inside out and I use the hot/cold water option. How do I prevent lint from sticking onto my clothing when it’s being washed???!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turn them inside out. I choose the cold water option andI do not use any bleach on dark clothes as it fades them
It’s a pain, I know. I can’t ever predict when all my clothes are going to come out covered in lint. Usually one or two pieces of particular clothing are to blame. You could try just putting your machine through a cycle with no clothes, and then cleaning the lint filter? I’d love to know what other peoples suggestions are!Answer by CARMIE
Keep dark clothes together when washing, I wash wrong side out, but dry right side out. Don’t crowd too many clothes in a load as that only makes the clothes rub on each other and creates ball fuzz, and causes fraying.
Also use liquid soap as the powders leave a” grayish” film on dark fabrics. Remember wash light colors together.
This has worked for me quite well for me.Answer by Lia C
