I am making a island from a couple exiting cabinets and building a pony wall to support a raised breakfast bar. Ideally I want the bar to be black, but I do not know how to integrate the bead-board that I wanted to paint black. I also planned to paint the cabinets black too. Should I wrap the bead-board to the sides of the cabinets as well to make it seem like one big piece? Any ideas would be great.
