: How do I make “homemade love”?
Whenever I ask my boyfriend what he wants for Christmas, all he says is “your love”! Can anyone think of a clever way to give this? Perhaps making a jar with a label that says “jar of love” and decorated? Hope you guys can come up with something more clever than that! Thanks!

Haha i think he meant sex. JK
When you see him (if on his birthday) tell him to close his eyes and then take a bow that you would put on presents and such, put it on your head (or anywhere else). then tell him to open his eyes and when he does kiss him!
Hope this helps, and good luck!

i like the “jar of love” idea too. just fill it with little notes, coupons, etc. & ask him to choose one every day or something like that.
in the notes, you can write little poems, jokes, quips, shared moments/memories, little sketches, etc. – anything to remind him of treasured moments & your love for him.
make coupons about stuff you will do for/with him – whatever he likes. when he picks a coupon, you will fulfill that chore/promise.

hope these help
all the best 🙂
I agree with what’s been said above, and you do have a good idea.
you could also wrap a small empty box, like something for earrings, and write a little poem about how he can’t open it but it holds your love.
hope you figure something out soon!
Answer by MariaHow about a box made out of gingerbread. On top, put a gingerbread girl and boy holding hands. Fill the inside with homemade cookies.
A recipe for the gingerbread, and the icing to use as glue is here: https://homecooking.about.com/od/cookierecipes/r/blcookie111.htm
Make three templates out of paper or cardboard. The first template is a rectangle the size of the base and lid, let’s say 5 x 7. The second template is a rectangle the length of the base and the height of the box, let’s say 7 x 3. The third template is a rectangle the width of the base and the height of the box, let’s say 5 x 3.
Roll out the dough on parchment paper. Lay a template piece over the dough and cut it out with a knife. Remove the excess and transfer the rectangle of dough on the parchment paper to the cookie sheet and bake according to the recipe (may need more time since the piece is bigger than a cookie). Do this twice with each template.
As each piece comes out of the oven, lightly place the template over the baked piece and trace around the cookie with a knife to trim off the expanded edges from the baking. Be sure to do this when the cookie is still warm and soft from the oven.
When all the pieces are cooled, assemble the box by gluing the sides to the bottom. Do not glue the lid on top, or you won’t be able to put the cookies in and out of the box. Glue the gingerbread girl and boy cookies to the top of the box and decorate with candies, icing, etc.
If your guy doesn’t like gingerbread or spicy cookies, you could use a sugar cookie recipe instead.
