Jun: how do I improve/increase my credit history?
Well guys thanks for stepping in.
I recently applied for a student credit card and i got rejected. the reason is that i am ” LACK OF CREDIT HISTORY”, consider that im an alien.
I know some people might have the problem of low credit score and might be rejected for that reason. im just confused that how am i supposed to gain more credit history while you dont give me a credit card?
I know that by signing up a 2 year long cell phone contract and paying bills on time does not help improve credit score but i dont know if it helps with credit history? anyway i need some answers please be generous to leave your comments.

I’ve had the same problem. It just may be the lender. Try a different credit card company. However, note that the more times you apply for credit, the more it can negatively affect your credit score.
