Amy: How do i get my horse to be a model in magazines?
This probably sounds stupid but my horse is a beautiful friesian cross and i was wondering if there was anyway that i could make her a model in the horse magazines? For example Stateline Tack has horses modeling their tack. Does anybody know how those horses get into that?

I’ve always heard that the companies will ask a group if they need a horse, and if anyone in that group has a suitable animal than that’s it. A friend of mine had a warmblood that was used in an ad for something or another.
I’d assume that individual tack companies, however, have horses they use and they are likely the horses of employees, for simplicity’s sake. You could always email and ask- Although really, Fresian crosses are a dime a dozen, but maybe yours could fill in for one that’s unable to do it anymore or something.
Answer by Samantha <3It’s pretty hard to do. Usually they pick very prestigous stables that have great horses. I would stick to using your mare’s beauty as an advantage when showing, rather than modeling.Answer by Kendra
My cousins’ own BitFit and they use one of their own horses for a model.
