if you dont already have one, you will need a router. On the back you should be able to see multiple ethernet female ends, just plug an ethernet cable to connect more computers.
If your DSL modem has more than one “network” port then you can plug your second computer into that. If not, then buy an inexpensive router. Connect the router to the DSL modem and you should be in business. Depending on the ISP, your router may have to authenticate to the outside world so that information would need to be set up in the modem.
It sounds complicated but it really isn’t.
Good luck.

Use a splitter….
It’s a small device that’s used to seperate the line into two or three lines running on the same path..
You can pick it up at the hardware store or the corner store where you live..
Now,as far as going online with no problem using this method,I don’t know, but it should work..
If it does, pat yourself on your back, and be happy that you asked this question and I answered…
LOL.
I hope I was very helpful to you pal.. Help me out by giving me a thumbs up!!

Answer by AjaxManatisoI have 4 PCs at home connected to my single DSL line. You just need a hub (incorrectly called a switch) –about $ 20–and then connect a network cable from your router to your hub and connect all your PCs into the hub. Most DSL routers are using DHCP and will only allow one address so you need to assign an address to your other PC or you’ll get an “address is already in use” error. To do this, first go to the computer that is already connected. Click Start>run and enter cmd (or just open a DOS window). Then enter the command ipconfig. You will need to write down all those numbers — gateway, subnet mast, ip address. Now once you connect your second computer go to Control Panel, Network Connections, right click and choose properties, then highlight TCP/IP and press the properties button. Choose a manually configured address (not automatic) and put all those numbers in there from the first computer EXCEPT that IP address needs a different forth octet. For example — if it was 192.168.7.15 on your first computer you can use 192.168.7.16 on the second one. Has to have that last number different.
*You CAN’T use a splitter on the same line and use 2 modems on one line — if you try I guarantee neither one will work, your telephones will stop working, and you will get a surprise visit from someone from your phone company.
Answer by MGYou can purchase a router/switch. This will allow several computers to share one internet connection.
Here is a link to basic Cisco router/switch:
You will also need some patch cords to connect everything:
Cat5e patch cords will work fine for your application.
You will need to configure the router but the vast majority of ISPs will walk you through it.
