Bobby C: How do I convince my wife that our daughters 7000 text a month is harmful?
My wife and I disagree that too much texting can be harmful. My wife actually gets mad at me when I suggest limiting the number of texts our daughter can do a month. She’s sees nothing wrong with the constant texting of our 16 year old daughter. She says at least she being social. I disagree and am tired of sounding like the bad guy and getting the quite treatment from my wife and daughter when I suggest a limit. Any suggestions?

Well there is always checking up with your phone company on what exactly all those texts are about but then that would just earn you an even longer sentence of silent treatment…

its a lose , lose situation guy, I feel your pain because I do think that’s a lot even tho I txt way too much too! I’m 21. Your daughter is only 16, texting is half of they’re life. You either get a unlimited texting plan and stop letting it bother you, or you ban her and you become her worst enemy.

Of course there is always the bargaining chip lol. You ask her nicely to lay off the texting for a while and in return she gets something she wants or to go out with friends …you get the idea, I hope.
