Samantha: How do I convince my dad to let me do cyberschool?
I’m moving with my dad pretty soon, and I know that if I go to the school that he lives by I’m not going to be able to get along with the kids that go there. So I’m trying to convince him to let me cyberschool. If I did do that, I know that I would have to have a job and be able to socialize with other people every now and then. So please help!

Tell him how you really feel about this problem. Some good homeschooling online websites are www.flvs.net and this is only for middle schoolers and high schoolers. P.S. I am currently attending this home-schooling and it is very, very strict. I think Connections Acadamy is good all I know is that I think their partnered with www.flvs.net and do a little research into it all and tell him a little bit about these schools online home schooling.
FLVS Florida Virtual School
You are required about 3 or 4 Assighnments each week for each class and you generally have around 5 Classes which include, A History, Science, Math, An Elective, and Language Arts. P.S. Reading is not a required class the kind of fit it into Language Arts.
Also, you and a parent are required to do monthly calls each month together with the teacher.
Also, for every Module you do in most classes you have to study then call the teachers about what you learned and studied.
You do not have to take the FCAT’S.
You have 30 Days during the time your classes are assighned to you and then you have to call the teacher in that time for a welcome call to her class. Then, if you dont think this type of schooling is right for you, you have 30 days to drop the classes.
It is in most states I believe but, it is based out of Sunny, Sunny Florida in Orlando.

After your student creates an account to sign up for classes, you will create your own Parent/Guardian Account that you will use to monitor course requests and progress in each course.
Support Academic Integrity
Academic Integrity is one of our core values and one of the most important areas of focus as a learning organization. Students with Academic Integrity make decisions based on ethics and values that will prepare them to be productive and ethical citizens. Read our policy on Academic Integrity.
Communicate with teachers
Your child’s teacher will be available to you on a daily basis to answer questions about the course. Each month you will be contacted by your student’s teacher to talk about the course.
Plan for the future
With our Student Advisement center and access to FLVS Guidance Counselors you can obtain information that will help you plan for the future education options for your child.
