becca: How do i contact Yahoo about someone reporting me to them that i violated the TOS?
Just received an email from Yahoo stating that i was reported to them by someone. It said that i may have violated the Terms of Service. I know for a fact that i haven’t said anything on any of the news stories i post on that could be construed as vulger, threatening, or hateful. Yahoo also said that if I’m reported again my account would be terminated without warning. How do i defend myself against an unknown/unseen person? How do i contact Yahoo about this?

All you can do is appeal the violation.

…………. and what violation are you talking about? You have asked one question here and answered one question. So, what exactly are you referring to?

Since report is anonymous, it is not likely for you to know who reported you, unless the reporter tells you this himself. If you feel you did not violate the Community Guidelines and/or Terms of Service, then you may appeal through the link that came with your violation notice. This is what is hard: the identity of the person is protected, and access as to what they actually said is blocked to you, so you can only speak that you feel that you have done no wrong and that the complaints are wholly without merit
