Josh M: How do I block a certain spammer?
I’m receiving constant email from a source. They’re sending me up to 25 spams a day. They go into my regular email and my spam folder. Can Is there a way to block this?

To block senders in e-mail, go to Options > Mail Options > Accounts > Spam in Classic Mail or Options > More Options > Accounts > Spam in All-New mail or Help > Options > Spam in Beta Mail.
Then in ‘Blocked Email Addresses’ on the right, enter the e-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after ‘Add a blocked address’. Click on the ‘add’ button below, then click ‘Save changes” at the top of the page.
The other person receives no notice; their mail is not returned as undeliverable – they have no clue, but you never receive their mail again.
The limit of blocked addresses is 500, but most people never get close to this, even when they add spam addresses. Blocking spammers is a waste of time, because they either hide or change the address used to send the mail. Simply mark these as Spam and Delete without ever opening them … some spam can install malware without your clicking any link in it.
(I’ve been receiving spam from a ‘spoofed’ address for two weeks, and even marking it as Spam does not work, because the address is not a true one and keeps changing!
