Good luck with that… I would look for one that has a published statement of ethics… at least that shows that they care about the client.

easy, they are all fake…..no offense but its all just a scam to get your money, they use key words and tricks to try to get YOU to tell them the answer without you knowing it and then acting like they knew the answer all along. its all in your body language and the way you respond to their “predictions”
dont waste your money
Answer by Alexif they say they can tell your fortune, they are fake… in any case, just go and have fun, it’s not like a fake fortune is gonna hurt youAnswer by Steve T
They are all real fortune tellers. Some may sometimes be accurate fortune tellers.
Do a google search on her name and see if she’s been succesful in the past.
But even if she has, it doesn’t mean future forecasts will be correct.
Answer by TerryLeading questions from the “fortune teller” and the query “Am I right” which is a grab for information. If you’re going to a Tarot reader make sure to learn something of the cards when placed before you–especially when your knowledge contradicts what the reader says. Like the magician reversed is not Witchcraft.Answer by Love 4 Nature.

By DISCERNMENT, how you FEEL within when you look and listen to the person, as your Higher Self or Soul KNOWS all truth, and when you trust what you feel within and sense (intuition or gut feeling), you will know who is genuine and who is not..
You can also ask within (as all humans, being very special, have great unseen help when we ask for it within) to be guided to the right person or situation or book to help you find the answers you wish to find..
Answer by ArtoriusThey’re “all” fake… there’s no such thing as “real” fortune tellers… no one can predict your future or know what’s in your past by reading cards, your palm, etc… it’s all fake.Answer by kilroymaster

They charge a lot and only tell you things you kind of already know. They are usually quite vague and may say cliched things like meeting a tall dark stranger, travelling, or having a baby.Answer by morpheus8250
I’d never regard a fortune teller at a fair as being ‘real’ – It’s all just a bit of fun. However, many so-called ‘fortune tellers’ are not psychic at all but work by what’s called ‘cold reading’ – It’s the ability to ask general questions and get people to reveal information which they can then use to make ‘predictions’. Perhaps your best bet at spotting a ‘real’ fortune teller is to be mindful of this technique and watch for the leading questions she may use to get information out of you.Answer by Arthur Again

I would definitely make sure you keep an open mind. Like it was said…often times fortune tellers at festivals are fake. Let me tell you…there is something many women are blessed with and that is women’s intuition. Go with your gut feeling as she is reading your future. Just because it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck…doesn’t mean it’s a duck. Same for the fortune teller. She could go through all the motions… but it doesn’t mean she is legit. Keep in mind there is not one fortune teller who is right all the time, so even if she is real, her “accuracy” may be a bit off. Remember you control your destiny. Have fun at the fair.Answer by Fulk Yu

Her watch would probably give her away. If it’s expensive, she’s having a good fortune herself. But if it’s a ten dollar a piece or she’s wearing none at all, well..what do you think?Answer by cardimom
