K: How can you describe the students at Columbia University?
Im an international student planning to take my MA in Columbia University. Are there still bullies in universities or have the students grown mature enough to know that bullying is stupid? (this is one issue im scared of in the USA!!)

We all know that in every university there are common stereotypes since majority of the students are described as something. Say in a specific univeristy, students are known to be elites, in MIT for example, students are known to be super intelligent and genius for the sciences.

Columbia University is obviously a fantastic school that offeres a very strong core curriculum, this can be good or bad depending on your study methods. But as for the students: They tend to be very cultured and intelligent, often knowing a ton beyond their area of study, columbia really fosteres a multicultural and broad student body. Expect to see very studious young men and women who are very commited. It`s deffinately the environment of scholars! If you fit in this description i suggest you apply!!
