How can science falsify anything when it can’t verify anything?

Mad Max: How can science falsify anything when it can’t verify anything?
If I falsify something, haven’t I simply verified its converse? Isn’t this a sort of proof by contradiction that science cannot verify, or falsify anything?

It seems to me that there is a strange asymmetry in logic that is assumed in science.
Please don’t confuse me with some Luddite and proclaim the virtues of science through technological achievement. If you do so, you are completely missing the point of my question.

What is considered most correct is what the top specialists agree on, after their own research and findings were concluded. You can’t say for sure that gravity is what holds us to the earth, but why would a not float in the air when you let go of it? The theory of gravity is just agreed upon by many of the worlds most intelligent and educated people.

Unlike guessing and checking, science has seven steps to solving a problem, Im sure you knew that. With each step is a different process at finding a conclusion. if you run the tests over again, with the same formula and steps, you should come out with the same results. If not, try it again. If you keep coming up with weird results, the experiment can’t be proven or tested in that manor.

You set up a false target, mis-define it and then ask why it doesn’t work.
Science constantly verifies everything by describing carefully how the result was brought about so that other people with similar facilities can try to produce the same result.
The falsification doctrine is a way of testing a doctrine or statement of theory. As a simple example, suppose you introduced the theory that all men have gold in their teeth. The proper falsify of that is some men have no gold in their teeth. If I can prove the falsify – by finding even one man with no gold in his teeth – then the proposed theory is false.
The original proposition has to be carefully stated and the falsify has to properly use the rules of logic in its construction.

Verification is for math and logic, not science. To pull a common statement from logic, “All men are mortal.” To falsify this, you would “just” have to find a man who is immortal. To verify this, you would have to kill off everyone in the world to prove that everyone can die. Not very feasible, especially as you would have to include yourself.
