I’ve been through this DO NOT get your hopes up. Chances are he might not get you anything. But if he does wouldn’t it make it that much more special. Mention homemade things, maybe he can cook you dinner.

When my hubby and I were young and poor, we made Valentines for each other! Suggest that you make each other something special. You could make a homemade card, cookies, or even dinner!

suggest that this year that you each make each other something for valentines day that way he doesn’t feel bad when you spend money on him. Besides I think you will both appreciate something unique that you made for each other.
