Nicola C: How can I stop my hair from being greasy the day after washing it?
I have a bit of a long story…
Back in May 2005 I got my hair permed. It didn’t look good and it was bad for my hair so I’ve been letting it grow out. I recently got tired of having to straighten it or go out with ugly looking curls so I cut about 6 or 7 inches off and my hair is now around my shoulders. I just got an extra inch cut off a couple of weeks ago and I’ve noticed that I have some split ends. I only straighten my hair once a week and usually I let it air dry. But I’ve also heard that you shouldn’t wash it everyday. My problem is that my hair is very fine and can be oily and if I don’t wash my hair everyday it looks very greasy. Does anyone have advice on how to stop my hair from looking greasy the second day, or products I could use? Thanks.

head and shoulders for greasy hair. it has the green citrus label. a natural method is to put strained lemon juice in your hair. hope this helps.
Well! That happens to me too. Whenever you straighten your hair try using CHI 44 iron guard, and for the shampoo try using one of the new Herbal Essence!Answer by spaz0011
Mix 1/2 cup lemon juice with 1/2 cup water, pour it all over your head, then wrap your hair in a warm towel for ten min. then shampoo and rinse it out. It removes the excess oil without overdrying your hair…. hope it helpsAnswer by Loussaille
Try using something like shikakai (a plant powder from India) or rhassoul (a moroccan clay). It’s very different from conventional shampoo, but it’s so much more effective on keeping your hair clean. I used to wash my hair every other day, now with rhassoul I only wash it once a week and the shine, bounce and volume are amazing.
