eflynazwa: How can I report a spammer that uses Yahoo Messenger?
I’m sure somebody hacked into my friend’s yahoo id. Everytime her id shows up in my messenger the person sent links containing malicious virus and adware, then signed out as quickly as he/she entered. I feel bad about reporting because she doesn’t know somebody’s using her account and it will be frozen if I ever reported it. It’s not her fault but it has to stop somehow. Please help.

You need to let her know that you think someone is using her account because if they can hack into her yahoo messenger acct then there is no telling what else they may have hacked into of hers. If they get her personal information off of YAHOO then they can really hurt her (idenity theft … #1 crime in america)
