KBO: How can I reinstall the “VGA compatible software” without the installation CD at hand?
I deleted some unused softwares from my computer but nothing that says video or VGA software. Ever since when I turn my computer on, it “finds new hardware”= VGA Compatible software, that I would have ti install, but I no longer have the installation CDs (don’t even remember installing it). I cannot watch DVDs because it asks me to lower screen resolution and color depth. Even if I do that, the screen will fall apart but cannot start the DVD. Can I download this software from the internet? I tried to reset my computer to an earlier stage (3 months ago time), but the problem stayed…

If your graphics are integrated onto your motherboard then the MoBo driver CD will have the drivers you need.
If that fails connect to the internet and allow the hardware installation wizard to access the internet for the files it needs.
well try this one try to open your computer then click properties/hardware then click device manager it will show you all information about you pc then click other device you’lll see your VGA Hardware then right click update driver choose connect to the internet to let them locate it and install it to your computer hope this one helps
