How can I motivate my wife to do her share of the work around the house?

John r: How can I motivate my wife to do her share of the work around the house?
Today I went out and bought 10 bags of water softener salt and had it loaded into the pick up.When I got home my wife wanted help getting it out of the truck and down to the basement! She complained about the rheumatism in her shoulder and the arthritis in her hands and hip.I bought her the smaller 50 pound bags to make it easier for her,and I almost got a paper cut when I wrote the check! Do I have to do every thing?

YOU SHOULD DO IT ALL IF SHE IS THAT SICK. UNLESS SHE CAN DO IT BUT NOT LIFTING DOWN THE STAIRS AND LIFTING HEAVY THINGS. sHAME ON YOU!!
