Study a little every day. Then, the day before the exam, look through everything and write notes on it. Then study from your notes.
Just make sure you know your stuff, it’s a slow process but practise and you’ll be fine.
Just do a bit of study each day, I don’t know what your school does but you’re supposed to do like 30mins-1hr of maths each day according to my school.
So just go over and work what you don’t until you get it. That’s all you can do.
I mean if you’re getting good marks, dont be upset if you don’t get the 95% – just be happy with whatever you get because it’s the best you could do!!!
You have so much time to improve. Trust me, I’m bout to be in year 12 so you’re doing better than me by far! 🙂
Answer by numb3ryou got 92% and your teacher wanted 95%…
it’s about the accuracy in answering the examination sheet…
minimize your simple mistake…
and take 100% as your target. Therefore, you will be motivated to score more than your teacher’s target.
All the best!
Answer by Diamond-RavenRead over your notes every night. Make summary notes so you don’t have to read through pages and pages of notes or the whole textbook.
Also, as you’re looking at the information, think of what kind of questions could be asked (look at your worksheets/textbook for examples). Make questions for yourself (ex. List all of the _____. Define ____. How is _____ related to/connected to _____? etc) and see if you can answer them without looking at your notes. It’s very important to get into the question/answer mode while studying. If you have a lot of information in your head but haven’t practiced how to get it out of your head and onto paper, you could freeze up and go blank during exams. You could also ask your teachers for sample questions. Teachers are good at making up questions – it’s what we’re paid for.
Good luck!
