How can I find out how tall my apartment building is?

Courtney B: How can I find out how tall my apartment building is?
I live in a 5 story apartment building in Bronx, NY. I want to know what website can i go to (or office I can visit) where I could find out how tall my celings are suposed to be. And how big my apartment is suposed to be. Like what the records say about my apartment (ex. Hight, length, bedrooms, etc.) Please help.

Highly unlikely the city would maintain as – builts for every building ,
Usually , the owners keep the plans once the certificate of occupancy is issued ,
But ya never know , go down to the building
department and ask if they archive plans .

And your apt is what it is , Why would “supposed to be” be an issue ,
Unless you suspect false walls with buried treasure ?

its probably at least 60 feet.

go to the front desk, speak to the manager or owner and ask to see the blueprints. if he asks why tell him “i have some serious questions for you” and he will get them out of curiosity
