I have a masters degree in social work and live in New Jersey. I recently visited Santa Rosa, near Santa Caterina Mita and truly want to return to the area and work.

I commend you for your decision. I have my degree in social work as well. I’ve been a stay at home mom for the past 8 years and we are now adopting from Guatemala….so I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for.

I’m not sure who you would need to contact. BUT, you might want to contact some adoption agencies that work within Guatemala. I know that our adoption agency has social workers that go to Guatemala and do ALOT of Humanitarian Aid and help with many programs that are already in place in different areas of Guatemala. I’m sure other agencies do the same. Our agency is Celebrate Children International. You can type that in the address bar and it should take you there. Maybe that will give you someone to ask about who you REALLY need to talk to about working there. Good luck.
