Steph: How can i become more flexible in gymnastics?
No matter how much I stretch i cant seem to become any more flexible in gymnastics. Its affecting my back handsprings, splits, and alot of other stunts that require flexibility.

In flexibility, the key is just to stretch as often as you can. Don’t push yourself too hard, but do just enough to feel like its doing something. You may not feel like anything is happening, but you will eventually become more flexible.
as annoying of an answer as this will be, honestly, just keeeeep stretching. I’ve been a gymnast for about 9 years now. I’m pretty flexible, and its taken me a long time. But that doesn’t mean it will take you forever.
My advice is to do straddles, splits, backbends, and pancakes. Each day try to go a little farther down, and hold the stretch for 10 seconds.
With time, you’ll notice that you’re alot more flexible.
Also, if you belong to a gym, as in workout kinda gym, definitely take up yoga and pilates
These exercises will really rev up your flexibility, i guarantee it
