Audience of One: How can I ace my rugby tryouts at school?
Can someone give me tips on how to ace my rugby tryouts at school. I can run quite fast but I can’t run for a long period of time, so can someone give me tips on how to run for longer periods of time.
Thanks in advance and by the way, I have no idea how to play rugby so can you keep the answers to easy steps.

When i tried out i had the same problem what i did is just breathed better. That’s all i can help with, so good luck.
you can do what pros do and train at high altitude. if thats not an option start running distance for workouts. start with half a mile to a mile and then gradually increase. if this is too much running then try running a quarter of a mile walking a quarter running a quarter and so on until you build up some enduranceAnswer by pukebob

Just keep running laps and doing suicides and sooner or later you’ll be able to run for longer, you should also do recovery drills and some cardio work.Answer by Caroline
well my tip for you is that you shouldn’t run your hardest until you got the ball or you are trying to tackle your opponent, so throughout the game you should just jog, so you don’t lose your breath.
