I thought sex during your period was unlikely to get you pregnant, so I thought sex during period andd birth control is even less likely. Is that true or is it worse?

Sex is bad during any week. Any time you have sex there is always a chance you could get pregnant. You are probably pregnant already.

It makes no difference. The combined pill protects you all month.

It is unlikely you will get pregnant on your period as it tends to happen around ovulation, at best 5 days before ovulation. In most people ovulation is around day 14 (first day of period is day 1). So you would only have an outside chance if you had short cycles. If you are using contraceptive pills then you shouldn’t become pregnant if you take as prescribed. They make the body believe it is pregnant so it doesn’t produce an egg and the bleeding is break through bleeding, not a true period. Not everyone likes the idea of sex during a period as it can be messy and sometimes you can feel uncomfortable.

you can get pregnant when on your period but hopefully the birth control will help u out on this one and depending on how worried you are about getting pregnant and when u had sex u can always get the plan be pill as long as its within 72 hours of the sex. u can get it at a wall-mart or wall-greens pharmacy for like $ 56

It’s not bad at all. If you’ve taken all your pills correctly, you are just as protected during your sugar pill week as you are the rest of the month.
