John W: How and where can I get a small loan with extremely bad credit?
How and where can I get a small loan with extremely bad credit?
I need to pay off $ 15,000 of delinquent bills. But my credit rating is probably less than 500. I don’t know for sure, but it is not good.
I need a small loan to pay off my bills. I just want them all consolidated.
The VA will not give me a loan, all they can do is co-sign a HOME LOAN, not a small loan for little things.
What can I do now?

Thanks to bad credit personal loans that are provided by many moneylenders in U.S. Isn’t this great news?

Answer by Ask Me Anything15k is not considered a small loan, especially since you are asking for it to be unsecured.
You need to get a 2nd, or 3rd job and use that income towards this 15k you owe.
You won’t get a loan with that credit score, especially a signature loan.
Answer by Tax couponAnswer by Brother OtterYou cannot borrow your way out of debt.
If you borrow money to pay bills, you still owe the money except now you owe it to someone who is charging you interest. Given a bad credit rating, you’re likely to pay even more in loan interest than what you’re paying on the outstanding debts.
And on top of it, the bills keep coming. You’ll have bills AND a debt for old bills, so you’ll be headed down the drain even faster.
Forget about your credit score. It’s bad and you’re not going to get it fixed anytime soon.
You’ve got to stop the bleeding.
Dave Ramsey says start with the little debts and get up some momentum by paying those off as quickly as possible. To do that, cut back on all of your optional expenses: no beer, no smokes, never eat out, quit buying clothes/games/toys. And sell whatever you can, then put every penny toward paying off debts. Get a second job; again every penny goes to paying down debt.
When you have a little money freed up, sign up for a Dave Ramsey “Financial Peace University” class. They’re held at churches, are very reasonably priced, and you will learn valuable skills to get out of debt and stay out of debt.
