I can only speak about southern Spain, but to give an idea.
Rentals: Coastal apartments (long term) from 600 to 2500€
Rentals: Inland houses and apts from 250€ month long term

Answer by wanderklutzIt all depends on where you are looking–Dublin, London, and Paris are pretty darn expensive, but so is New York City. However, if you look hard enough, you can always find a good deal. Good luck!Answer by Rose
It varies widely from country to country.
Most of the UK and Scandinavia will be more expensive than the US. So will specific cities like Paris and Barcelona. Northern Italy can also be quite expensive
Eastern Europe (and rural areas of western europe) will be comparable to the US or cheaper.
