MissDBG: Can you get an HCH ( horizontal clitoral hood) piercing with a barbell instead of a ring?
I REALLY want a barbell but every picture I’ve seen has a ring. Can I get a barbell?
Danielle: No one asked your opinion on what YOU or YOUR friends think. I happen to be with a guy who LOVES those piercings. I’m into the alt lifestyle anyways and just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean othe people don’t.

No, when I got mine done, the piercer said if it swelled, it would swell over the barbell or the barbell could fall out. He put a ring in and I switched it out to a barbell after it healed.

Ew, Jesus Christ please don’t get it. I had a discussion with some of my guy friends about girls who get pierced down there and they said that it’s an extreme turn off. Exactly the same for me if a guy has a Prince Albert…Don’t do it and save yourself the pain and the screams.

As long as the bar is long enough for the swelling, then there is no reason you couldn’t get pierced with one.

the reason it is done with a ring is because there is a captive bead on it.

this keeps anything from coming loose.

once it heals you can change it but not before.

if it was a VCH it could be a barbell but not a HCH because there needs to be room for swelling when pierced. the space around the clitoris isn’t very wide. a barbell right off the bat would be extremely uncomfortable and create a higher risk for tearing of the hood.
