Cliff C: help with credit question.?
I checked my credit and found that I dont have “credit history”. How do I build my credit and raise my score?

Apply for store credit (Old Navy, Home Depot). cards that are limited to a specific store give the creditor more security.
Bank where you have savings/checking acct-even if you have to open a new account, it is worth it to build your history. again, the lender has a more secure position so they are more inclined to give you credit.
Cell phone, landlord, utilities… You can request that they submit your credit history which most will do.
