rita s…thanks for your input, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do to get gas for your car..with or without permission of the person who owns the cars gas you are syphoning.

No–sounds like a good way to poison oneself with gasoline, not to mention the moral and character questions involved.

Yes I did and I swallowed a mouthful of gas and got sick.

Yes, I was witness to this, and could have got aiding and abetting if caught. Laughed my fanny off when he swallowed some of the toxic fumes. Those were the days! Thanks for triggering a memory. LOL!
