Gung Hay Fa Choy

Answer by Tsukasa
gung hay fat choy!

Answer by Shiro
(Cantonese):

新年快樂 = Sun Lin Fai Lok = Happy New Year.

恭喜發財 = Gung Hei Fat Choi = closer to, ‘wishing you good fortune’

Answer by Elena S
many people here wrote Cantonese instead of Chinese…
that’s useless, isn’t that?…
for Chinese, it is:
xin1-nian2 kuai4-le4
(it’s not an English alphabet, it’s a phonetic transcription called pin-yin)

Answer by Jose Nakagawa
all of the above are correct. Howevere, if you’re unfamiliar with Chinese, you won’t be able to read any of them.

Gung hei Fat Choy is cantonese, but it’s more like saying, “money and wealth for next year”

“Xin Nian Kuai Le” is the correct Mandarin way… but you would say it like this: “Sheen Nian Kwai La”
