Guitar!!!!?

Does anyone know where I can purchase a guitar that is unpainted? I want it to look like it’s a custom that still needs to be painted (if that makes sense.)

Please help me out if you can.

Check with area music stores…they may be able to order one for you, or refer you to someone who customs makes guitars

guitar center might have one. they also have a catalog with hundreds of guitars check em out and ask about it

Many manufacturers make a lacquered version of the body wood. SO all you’d need to do is sand away or strip off the clear lacquer to get to the finish wood.

Also Gibson now has a series where they have ‘unfinished’ Les Pauls…to look more urban, I guess. There are no trim rings, the finish is open, etc.

Or, you can call a good guitar shop, and they can try to custom order you an unfinished guitar.

you can order a guitar kit that is usually like the unfinished body and the neck, and then you would have to order all the hardware like the pick-ups/electronics, nut, bridge, tuning keys, etc. – I’ve looked at these on e-bay before, but I’m sure there are other places online to find them. They kits are usually just the wood body and neck sanded down very smooth and ready to be painted…
