: What is the proper etiquette for taking my girlfriend Lingerie shopping?
My girlfriend wants to go lingerie shopping and she wants me to come along. What are some basic rules of etiquette that I should keep in mind?

Don’t suggest that she would look good in anything, it could become a slap in the face.

Just lay low and follow her around. Agree with whatever she says.

I saw some guys at VS with their GFs from time to time and seemed out of their league, felt bad for them
Some others are there alone buying lingerie for their SOs and think nothing about
I’d suggest you follow her around, don’t be too vocal and be agreeable to whatever she chooses

hey just stand there mostly. let her pick things out…she will ask you if u like them and dont lie bacause remember she is getting them for your benifit. so if u dont like it say “its okay, but this one is better” and just be honest.

Don’t touch things unless she hands them to you. Do not go in with her to the dressing room…no matter what she says. Just let her lead the way and pay attention to what size she wants/purchases and what types of things she likes (thongs? bikini style panties? boyshort panties?). This way if you go online or to a store you can buy stuff for her without her there and know you will get the correct size and things she would want to wear.
If you feel uncomfortable in the store tell her and explain (quietly) to her why you feel uncomfortable. Getting noticeably hard in the store would be inappropriate/ disturbing to other women in the store.
