Canucker: How do I tell my girlfriend to stop buying me gifts?
I’ve never been big on the whole gift giving thing. I think on special occasions and celebrations is fine but she is constantly buying expensive gifts for me. Obviously I feel obligated to buy her a gift too. Honestly though it’s hurting my wallet. She makes more money than I do and I just can’t keep up with her.
How do i tell her to stop without her thinking I’m ungrateful?

tell her openly that don’t purchase gifts constantly and also thank her for her gifts but no more.

Explain that to her. You love getting gifts from her and love that she’s so generous but you feel embarrassed that you can’t keep buying her gifts back.
