megan c: GEOmetrY!!!!!!!!!!?
whats that rule? a rectangle can be parallelogram but a parallogram cant be rectangle…or something I FORGET!

as u can see, im working with polygons and shapes here.
concave and convex?

Answer by Baba Lou
Equiangular is when all the angles of a polygon have the same measure. Regular is when all sides are equal and all angles are equal. concave is when one or more sides of the shape go in towards the center. Convex is when none of the sides go in towards the center. As far as the rule, a parallelogram is anything that has 2 or more parallel sides so a rectangle can be a parallelogram. Never heard of the rule though….

Answer by Friend
a rectange has two pair of sides parallel to each other so it is a parallelogram. But a parallelograms do not always have all the angle equal to 90. So all parallelograms are not rectangle.
Equiangular are two figures which have the same corresponding angles.
Regular figures are symmetrical and all angle are equal.

Answer by Random Brain
A rectangle is a parallelogram (has 2 sets of parallel sides), but a parallelogram might not be a rectangle (it’s only a rectangle if it has 4 right angles).

Equiangular means that all the angles in the polygon are equal.

Regular means that all the angles are equal AND all the sides of the polygon are the same length.

Convex means that there are no parts of the polygon “dented in” – like a square.

Concave means that some part of the shape is “dented in” – I don’t know a better way to put it.

Hope this answers your questions =)

Answer by Chris
All rectangles are parallelograms, but not ALL parallelograms are rectangles.

A parallelogram is a 4-sided shape (quadrilateral), with 2 pairs of parallel lines.

A rectangle is a 4-sided shape (quadrilateral), with 2 pairs of parallel lines, AND all vertices measure 90 degrees, forming right angles.

Equiangular- having all angles equal.

Regular- having all sides AND angles equal.

Hope this helps! : )
