Only strawberries…they do nicely in window boxes provided you shelter them from frost in the winter, or plant new plants every spring. You are a bit too late for strawberries in a window box this year.
Agreed, if you are stuck on a fruit or berry of some kind. I think strawberry is about your only choice. I think they would look great in a box too. When the mature plants send out runners it will give the box a great weeping effect. And you may not get many berries out of them this year but I would plant them anyway to get them established. That way they have a good head start on next years crop.
