Here is a link to some hotels in Baltimore. I also do not recommend you get a very cheap hotel.

You can check TripAdvisor.com for comments from past guests about hotels anywhere. Don’t think you’d want a “cheap” hotel, from a safety standpoint.

If you’re staying there because a family member is admitted to JH, check with the Social Services department at the hospital. Hospitals sometimes have special arrangements with hotels for such cases. There may also be a “Ronald McDonald” house nearby.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
