I do believe that the Fast food places aren’t helping the situation becuz of advertisements but they are trying to make money…Answer by jsssika
I believe that the serving sizes that fast food restuarants are providing are more than helping to make American’s obese. There is no reason for a supersize option when the regular serving alone holds more calories than it should.Answer by young adult
The fast food companies know what people find enticing in food, which is why they sell good tasting cheap food. People can’t help themselves and buy, but they get addicted after eating it non-stop for a few days. They feel sluggish and don’t want to excersise and only perk up after eating the fast food again, which only worsens their condition. Check out the movie “Supersize Me”. I learned a lot, like how Mcnuggets are made.Answer by 2007
NO! Their food is okay in moderation. Some people think they need to eat their everyday, sometimes even two and three times a day. If you are going to eat there that much you need to practice self control and make healthy choices. Go to Subway and get a sub on wheat with tons of vegis and a little meat, McDonalds has salads, apples dippers, diet sodas, water, milk, yogurt parfaits. I believe Burger King has the Boca Burgers.. not so sure?
Should grocery stores be held responsible for selling cookies and cakes and Doritos and frozen foods with no nutritional value? No. Should every place that sells fattening foods be forced to not sell these items any longer so those of us that practice self control and make the right choices can’t indulge ourselves here and there? People just don’t want to take any responsibility anymore and are always looking for a way to make a quick buck.

Companies should have been more honest about calories and transfats.
People should also know that – if it tastes that good, it must be bad for you!Answer by John J
Hell no, people can and should be responsible for what the eat and what they do. The king really isn’t waking up with you and handing you a sandwich is he. Nope. But you may chose to go to him, then chose to not walk off what you just ate, and chose how you spend the rest of the day, even visit him again for lunch. In case you think I’m being sarcastic, I’m not, just making a point. Just because fast food is available does not mean we have to eat it.Answer by sara_pk1
No, it’s the people who eat it. There’s nothing wrong with a bic mac or whatever once in a while (everything in moderation), but when you eat fast food 3 times a day every day, you have to realize there are consequences. Most combos at the fast food joints have enough calories for a person for the entire day – or more!Answer by crystal_lee68
People are responsible for their own actions. Fast food restaurants offer healthy foods like salads.Answer by KHO
No. Regardless of the portion size, it’s still your choice whether you eat it or not. Of course they’re going to offer bigger sizes because they mean more money. They don’t care if you’re overweight as long as they’re making a profit, and they shouldn’t be expected to. Do gas stations get blamed if you put regular in your car when premium is better for it, and you have car trouble?Answer by Shah
No. Well, maybe partly responsible.Answer by debbigeri
no because we are what we eat you have to stay away from junk food.Answer by EKSHLB
No, it’s the fault of the people who make the decision to eat fast food constantly. People make poor decisions and eat foods that are high in fat, calories, and sugar and thus they become fat. No one held a gun to their head and said eat at Burger King for lunch everyday.
