Ok so I have two kids that are 7 and the are diff gender twins. They are named Brooke and Tyler. I have a large family and tommorow is my niece Allysen’s birthday. She is going to be 14 and we are having a dinner at my house. My kids love Ally but Ally loves her phone! How do I get Allysen away from the phone and in with the kids that adore her!?

Maybe you should tell her that your kids love her and if she could stop using her phone for some hours and do something with your kids!!

tell her its a family night it wont hurt to put the phone away for a day, lay down some rules. she may feel like there 7 years younger than her and she cant talk to then about things she may talk to her friends about. thats when you get in close to her… talk to her about different things. so she wont even think about the phone.

Just ask her politely to put her phone away for the evening so Brooke and Tyler can enjoy her company… And add that it hurts their feelings that she is always on her phone when she could be spending time with them at your place.
