i don’t have a facebook, but on aim, i keep getting these IMs from face book saying :
NAME HERE and NAME HERE invite you to join Facebook, the easiest way to share photos and videos with your friends. Here’s the link to check it out:

is this from facebook, cause i don’t even have an account for facebook? or is it from the real people?

Its really either or. Either your friends have invited you to join through their address books, or Facebook sent an automatic message, but again through your friends’ accounts.
If you don’t have an account and don’t want an account, just ignore the messages – though it is more than likely you may get them again!

(i get them even though i’m ON facebook!)

uhh thats when your friends invite you to it and like they give ur name and ya.. so u dont have a account YET. but your friends want u to get 1

So, FB as an ability to look up contacts from your AIM friends list. So, if some people don’t have FB yet, you can send them an invite. I’m willing to bet that you have friends that want you on FB. So, I guess it’s both, from real people and from FB the website.

it might be advertising or it might be from real people – but don’t join you’ll regret it & end up deleting your account – it’s getting lame
